Abortion Accessibility: Wisconsin

I made this infographic map as part of a journalism course at UW-Madison. For our final class project, we chose to feature stories about the state of reproductive rights in Wisconsin. I interviewed medical providers in the state about their experiences after the 2022 Dobbs decision. The providers emphasized that even before the state’s 1849 ban went into effect, abortion was already difficult to access for people in central and northern Wisconsin. To highlight their points, I decided to make this graphic using the same method that I developed as part of my GIS abortion access analysis project in 2022.
